Bonn31.01.2026Factheory + Hotel du Globe Laden: KULT 41 www.kult41.de 0228-9085707 Hotel du Globe Hotel du Globe is a Belgian alternative rock band formed in the early 80s by singer Pierre Melchior and bassist Frédéric Floss. They were joined by Dimitri Koutcheriw on drums and keyboards, guitarist Philippe Verstraeten and drummer Eric Bayens. ‘We were largely influenced by the bands that emerged after the punk movement. These included Joy Divison, Human League, The Cure, B-Movie, Simple Minds, etc. ‘. We wrote several songs with metaphysical lyrics, in keeping with our generation. In 1987, the band gave its last concert. Without knowing that one day Hotel du Globe would reform. The covid-19 pandemic led us into an existential impasse, but we were able to make the most of this confinement. Our ideas and thoughts were able to escape from this virtual prison… ‘We opened a window on the sky’. More than three decades later, the idea of relaunching the band germinated in our minds. We decided to record and revisit our most popular song of the time, ‘Eyes of the Shadow’, a track with obvious post-punk overtones. It caught the attention of Bath-based Glasstone Records. They signed us to distribute and master the track, which officially became our first single. Following on from this, we wrote and recorded 4 other tracks which, along with ‘Eyes of the shadow’, will appear on our first EP, entitled ‘Introspection’, released on 28/08/23. For the recording sessions, we were joined by guitarist Geoffrey Lesire. And drummer Marc De Meersman – who was in the band in 1985, before joining Vaya Con Dios. And last but not least, the young and charismatic Louise has joined us to lend her soft, deep voice to Strange Vision, Back to the Past & The Next Day. To complete the project, Jean-Didier, a close friend who was also a member of HDG in 1987, has joined us. He’s not only a talented and creative keyboard player, but also a fantastic songwriter. Our EP quickly caught on, especially in the UK (with numerous airplay hits on major web radio stations and press articles), culminating in a nomination for Radio Wigwam’s annual ‘Best International Bands’ award. On 25 January 2024, we were invited to London for the ceremony and finished in a very respectable 3rd place. As soon as our first EP was released, we started to work on our first 9-track album, which will be entitled ‘Outrospection’. It’s due for release in September 2024, with a CD pressing planned for October 2024. A fifth video “Be Yourself” will also be released in September 2024. FACTHEORY FACTHEORY is a band from the Brussels scene whose style is firmly in the post-punk movement, with a poetic side that stands out. FACTHEORY are referring to the legendary FACTORY label that saw the birth of Joy Division, a major influence for all members of the band, even though the musical style evolved into an almost romantic melodic postpunk with influences as diverse as Sophia or Noir Désir. Factheory is a Belgian band from Brussels. The band has released his first album Serenity in Chaos (released in physical version on February 17, 2024, in collector’s form, 10 tracks + 3 bonus tracks). It was recorded throughout 2023 in several stages, both in our home studio, but also in Studio Canal 10 (Hautrage, Belgium for the vocals). A total of 17 songs were recorded. It is a record of artisans and “amateurs”, in the good sense of the word (those who love). We put the best of ourselves into this album by not focusing on a specific style, but by integrating all our influences (post-punk, new wave, dark wave, gothic and even dub). We think, despite the fact that the styles of the pieces are quite different, that the CD maintains a unity of sound. Wiesbaden31.01.2026☠️Slime / The Exploited / 100 Kilo Herz / Butterwegge 3!+7(hoch eins)-Tour 2025/26 Punk Laden: Schlachthof Wiesbaden www.schlachthof-wiesbaden.de 0611-974450 Nach einem Jahr Kreativpause kommen SLIME 2025 mit neuer Platte und Tour zurück. Am 01.08.25 veröffentlichen sie die 13. Platte seit Bandgründung und die zweite mit Sänger Tex Brasket. Das viel erwartete Stück trägt den kryptischen Titel „3!+7(hocheins)“ und wird mal wieder für Überraschungen und Diskussionsstoff sorgen. Denn eins steht fest: SLIME bleiben unberechenbar und erfinden sich in regelmäßigen Abständen neu. Die mittlerweile nicht mehr ganz neue Besetzung ist erfolgreicher als jemals zuvor. Viele neue Fans wurden dazu gewonnen und viele alte Fans die der Band im Laufe der Jahre den Rücken gekehrt hatten, sind seit dem letzten Album wieder zurück gekehrt. Rüsselsheim31.01.2026MainStage ’26 – Die Stimmenwerk Session Laden: das Rind www.dasrind.de/ 06142-13727(Bar)06142-81680(Büro) Mit der MainStage ’26 kehrt die Stimmenwerk-Session anlässlich des 10-jährigen Bestehens des Stimmenwerks in neuem Gewand zurück. Sie bildet den Abschluss der Session 25/26 – und zugleich den Auftakt zu einem ganzheitlichen Förderformat für Sänger*innen, das die musikalische, persönliche und performative Entwicklung von Gesangstalenten und ihren Bands/ Projekten in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Das Projekt knüpft an die erfolgreiche Tradition der Stimmenwerk-Sessions aus den Jahren 2015 bis 2019 an, in denen bereits zahlreiche Sänger*innen auf ihrem künstlerischen Weg begleitet wurden. Nach einer längeren Pause wird das Konzept nun erweitert: Neben der stimmlichen Arbeit stehen heute auch Selbstvertrauen, Bühnenpräsenz, künstlerische Identität und das Netzwerken in der lokalen Musikszene im Fokus. Beim Konzertabend am 31. Januar 2026 zeigen die Teilnehmenden, was in diesem Entwicklungsprozess entstanden ist. Die Session-Band 4 Numb präsentiert gemeinsam mit zahlreichen Stimmenwerk-Session Sänger*innen energiegeladene „Heavy Load Rockcover“ – ein Mix aus Emotion, Power und Spielfreude. Für manche der Sängr*innen ist es der erste Auftritt mit einer Live-Band, für andere eine spannende Gelegenheit, sich in einem neuen Genre auszuprobieren und Erfahrungen über das eigene Bandumfeld hinaus zu sammeln. Als Highlights des Abends stehen Asura Falls mit eigenem Mixed-Fronted Metalcore und Spillflower mit Mixed-Fronted Modern Metalcore auf der Bühne – beide Bands mit Sängerinnen aus der Stimmenwerk-Community, die die intensive Verbindung von Stimme, Emotion und Sound eindrucksvoll erlebbar machen. Ergänzt wird das Programm durch die zwei Nachwuchs Singer-Songwriterinnen Vüxin.Music und Ylva, die ihre eigenen Songs präsentieren und damit das musikalische Spektrum des Abends abrunden. Die MainStage ’26 steht für die Verbindung von Nachwuchsförderung, künstlerischer Qualität und regionaler Musikszene. Sie spielen achzigeresken Post-/Wavepunk mit entsprechend düsterem Einschlag, ohne dabei ihre Punk/Hardcore-Wurzeln zu verleugnen. KONTROLLE bewegen sich zwischen Wut und Finsternis, zwischen Tanzbarkeit und Lethargie und zeigen dabei ein gutes Gespür für Spannungsbögen.
